[It's early- way earlier than Silver usually comes back. That's the first red flag.

The second is that he tries very deliberately to sneak past Ludger and head straight to the bathroom. Please don't notice him coming in, please don't convince him that he has to go to the hospital-]

[Ludger was getting better at having a ear out for Silver. It's natural really, with someone who sneaks into your house. You usually have to pay extra close attention to make sure you could catch them.

The fact that he's home earlier definitely is a sign for concern, though. Or maybe he just forgot something. Though when Ludger turns to see him, bloodied again, his worry was obviously very warranted.]
